Below are what you agree to when booking with us at Gr8 Grace Freight.
**Transit time is currently 30 to 60 days from Port of Origin(PO) to Port of Discharge(PD)**. This is subject to change without prior notice. We will do our best to provide you of latest transit time.
Note that the Mid Month and Month End cargo may both depart at the same time and have the same ETA. This will depend largely on the mid month cargo capacity. If it fills the container it ships, and if it doesn’t it will join the month end cargo.
Book 72 hours before 12:00AM of the Pick Up Date to avoid late booking fees.
Please book only after your cargo is ready or that you’re 100% certain your cargo will be ready by 6am on the pick up day. If your cargo is not ready upon our arrival we will leave, not out of disrespect but out of respect for others like you waiting on us.
1 - Booking Deposit Requirement:
- For each booking, there will be a $100 deposit requirement before it is confirmed. Electronic payment methods are available to process your deposit. The entire deposit will be applied to your shipping costs upon successful pick up. However, it will be forfeited if you cancel, are a no -show, provided the wrong address, or wasn’t ready when we showed up.
- Reason: Our pick up day includes between 20-50 clients and therefore involves calculation and routing to enhance efficiency and fulfillment of our promise to pick your cargo. We limit ourselves to 50 pickups per day and at times have to rollover or deny requests because of capacity limits. So if clients in the list cancel or are a no-show, they were occupying a spot that could have gone to a denied or rolled-over booking.
- This is not a fee, but will turn into one when you don't honor your booking.
2 - Booking Fees:
- Free - There is no fee when booking more than 72 hours before 12:00AM of the pick up day.
- Late Booking Fee($50.00) - Bookings made within 72 hours, but before 12:00AM of the pick up day, there will be a $50.00 fee which is required along with the booking deposit before pick-up is confirmed.
- Same-Day Booking Fee($100) - Bookings made on the pick-up day, but before we pass your general location(5 mile radius), will require a $100.00 fee along with the booking deposit before pick-up is confirmed.
- Convenience Booking Fee($250.00) - Bookings made on the pick-up day, but after we pass your general location(5 mile radius), will require a $250.00 fee along with the booking deposit before pick-up is confirmed.
- Special Pick up run($250.00) - To book for a designated date and time, that is outside our pick up schedule, for your cargo pick up requires $250.00 fee
3 - Book for You and for Yours
- In engaging us, you are consenting to being named the shipper/consignor of your cargo that we pick up and forward to it's Port of Discharge.
- We will not entertain a booking made on behalf of someone else, until and unless the shipper and receiver is one and the same person.(Returning Resident of country of discharge)
- Upon receipt of your deposit, you will assume the shippers/consignors responsibility in all related communication and or shipping documents.
- As freight forwarders we are required to have a trail of communication from the senders to immune us from liability of any contraband found in any piece of cargo. The person signing the Customs Declaration form is solely and fully liable for any breach of local laws by their consignment or it's contents.
4 - Preferred Pick Up outside Pick up Days
- If you prefer a certain day or time outside the pick up days, there is a $250 convenience fee. This will require a deposit of the same amount to confirm the appointment.
5 - Home Pick Up:
After booking, ensure your box is accessible even if you’re not home. If no one is at home we have the following suggestions:
- leave the door closed but unlocked so we have access to your cargo
- Keep door key in a secret location and let us know
- Keep cargo outside the front or back
6 - Storage Pick Up
- Make sure you inform us if the pick up is from a storage facility.
- In addition to the address, provide us your gate access code and unit number.
- If you cannot be there throughout the day, after packing and sealing, leave the storage unit closed but unlocked. We will lock it after picking up your argo.
- If your storage cannot be left unlocked, arrange for delivery of your key to us. We will pick your cargo using the same key.
- There are also coded padlocks, for which you can provide us the code to access your storage unit.
- If none of the above works then you need to be present at your storage throughout the pick up day, or be within a 10 minutes call/text.
7 - Multiple Pick Up Location
- First pick up has no handling fee. If you have more than one pick up location, there will be a pick up fee for the second location onwards beginning at $35. Having all your cargo in one location will save us time and consequently you money.
8 - Costs Involved:
- Uhaul Grand Wardrobe (24x24x48) - $160
- Uhaul Grand Wardrobe (24x21x48) - $160
- Uhaul Wardrobe (18x21x46) - $160
- Uhaul Shorty Wardrobe -$130
- Uhaul Large Electronic Box - $130
Any other box or piece of cargo is applied the rate of $12.50/cubic feet. This includes home depot and other branded wardrobe boxes, along with random items and furnitures.
9 - Minimum Shipping Fee
- For each receiver/consignee there will be a minimum $100 shipping fee. For example, if the volume of your cargo being sent to one receiver measures 2 cubic feet. At the rate of $12.50/cubic feet, the shipping fee should be $25, however the minimum $100 applies.
10 - Overweight
- Weight will only be charged when a piece exceeds 250LB. Any excess will be charged $50.00 for the first 50 lb overage(i.e. up to 300lb) and $1.50/lb thereafter. Any cargo deemed overweight upon pick up, will be weighed once they arrive at our warehouse storage facility. View an example
11 - Oversized
- For the above uhaul box prices, the price applies when your box remains within the fold lines it was designed with and remains reasonably square as a box. When they bulge more than a 1/2 inch in any dimension they automatically fall to the $12.50/cubic feet rate.
12 - Multiple Consignees
- You are afforded one free consignee/receiver handling fee. Each subsequent consignee/receiver will each have a $25 handling fee.
For Example:
- One Consignee - Zero handling fee
- Two Consignees - $25.00
- Three Consignees - $50.00
- …and so on
13 - Insurance(Optional)
- You may insure electronics such as TV, laptops, phones, computers etc which are semi fragile and costly .
Insurance fee:
- $50 - Coverage up to $500
- $75 - Coverage $501 to $1250
- $100 - Coverage $1251 to $3000
- To be insurable, insured items must be packed separately and not part of other items in a box. If new, they must be in their original box, and, if not, must be wrapped in a minimum of 1 inch diameter bubble bubble-wrap before boxing.
14 - Wrapping Fee
Should you have articles like furnitures that need wrapping, below are the charges. We do not wrap on pick-up days. Cargo will be brought to our warehouse for wrapping.
- $100 wrapping fee
- $20 per blanket
- Cost of additional wrapping materials
15 - Packing List and Customs Declaration Form
- FRCS requires the completion of a packing list as well as the signing of the Fiji Customs Declaration form.
- After we assume custody of your cargo, this form will be emailed to you electronically and must be completed within 72 hours of receiving it.
- If your form is not submitted within the allotted timeframe, a general form will automatically be generated on your behalf. This will incur a $50 penalty borne by the shipper/consignor per Bill of Lading.
- The packing list should be completed and can be affixed to the side of your cargo. You must also keep a copy to help you fill the electronic form that we send you after the pick up.

16 - Application of Shipping Fees
- The shipping fee is payment for the service of packing and/or shipping your cargo from your pick up location/drop off location here in the USA, via the port of Oakland or any other exiting ports in the USA to the destination port named on your bill of lading. There is no destination Customs Duty, Tax, levies or destination Bio Security fee included. It's collection and reception from our agent in Suva or failure thereof does not recuse nor absolve the shipper of the entire shipping fee. In essence even if your cargo is sold at auction by the FRCS due to storage overage, you are still liable for the entire shipping fee since the entire service promised by us is fulfilled on the first day of release at the destination CFS warehouse.
17 - Unpaid Shipping Fee
- shipping fee is the amount owed for the service of forwarding cargo from the pick-up/drop-off point in the United States, to our CFS warehouse locations in the Fiji Islands. Once the cargo has completed customs pre-clearance and is declared ready for collection from the CFS warehouse, the forwarding service is complete. Thereafter, collection of cargo and clearance of all locally related charges, including but not limited to FRCS and Bio Security fees, storage fees etc, has no bearing on the shipping fee owed. Naturally, you may not collect your cargo until you have settled the shipping fee in full even though your cargo has been declared ready for collection.
- The CFS warehouse is a customs bonded facility with FRCS owning jurisdiction over all consignments held therein. Consignments tagged with unpaid shipping fees at some point will be subject to FRCS auction mandate. The sale, dispersion or auction of these items does not diminish the shipping fees once the service promised is completed on the day cargo is declared ready for collection.

18 - Chargebacks
- Chargeback Fee($50.00) - with electronic and card payments, you agree that you fully understand the charges levied and are making an informed payment. So all chargebacks by your bank, credit card company and/or electronic payment methods will be levied a $50 transaction fee.
