Unpaid Shipping Fees

As of 01/01/2019, Until consignors settle amount owed to GR8 Grace Freight (GGF), consignments will be held by our agent in Fiji. After 5 business days of free storage with agent in Fiji, all items with related outstanding shipping fees will be automatically released to a consignee appointed by GGF.

The appointed consignee reserves the right to store or disperse your cargo  by, but not limited to, sale, auction, trade to recover shipping costs. If stored, below are the charges you will pay to recover your cargo within the recoverable timeframe.

Amendment fee: FJD100

Bond - FJD55

Transportation - FJD80

Storage - $55/CBM/day or FJD55/day (whichever is greater)

Customs Duty - Amount charged by customs office plus 10% of customs fee

Below is a time-line of how we treat unpaid cargo

Boat Docks --> devanning, unloading and sorting(3-5 business days)

--> First release day to Last Release day(5 Business Days)

--> Last Day of Release( Seizure of all unpaid cargo)

In essence from the time the boat docks in Suva, shippers have almost two weeks to complete payment. After which you forfeit ownership of ALL your cargo contained in the unpaid Bill of Lading even if they are partially paid for.

Please do not send your consignee for cargo collection if you know you haven't completed payment. This will be a waste of time and effort, as they will be turned away by our Agent in Fiji.

Thank you for your understanding
